To: Green Future 2050 English Version (for 5–6 minutes TED Talk) Hello everyone! My name is [Tên bé]. I’m in Grade 3. Today, I want to talk about my dream and my action for our environment. My dream is to live in a clean and green world — where the sky is blue, the air is fresh, and there is no trash on the ground. But now, our environment is being destroyed day by day. Around the world, there are more and more storms, floods, and wildfires. Especially in Vietnam, our country has faced many natural disasters. Just recently, Typhoon Bualoi caused heavy rain and strong winds. And before we could recover, another storm named Matmo came and brought more flooding. Many people lost their homes, and children could not go to school. It makes me very sad. That’s why we must protect the Earth before it’s too late. I believe that even small actions can make a big change. Every day, I try to do something for the environment. I turn off the lights when I leave my room. I use my own water bottle instead of plastic cups. And I never throw trash on the street. Last summer, my family went to the beach. I saw many plastic bottles and bags on the sand. I felt sad, so I picked up the trash with my mom. That day, I learned that even one small action can help nature breathe again. At school, I tell my friends to take care of our planet. We started a “Green Team” to collect trash every Friday. We also draw posters to remind everyone: “Keep our school clean!” Together, we can make our school and our world more beautiful. In the future, I dream of becoming a scientist who invents machines to clean the oceans, or maybe a teacher who teaches children to love and protect nature.No matter what I become, I will always take care of the Earth.
